Tzatziki Sauce

Do you need a versatile dip for a grazing board? Or a yogurt-based sauce for a spicy dish? Tzatziki Sauce is the perfect thing.

Ingredients

1 cup whole-fat Greek Yogurt

1 tablespoon lemon juice, freshly squeezed

1/2 cup of cucumber, seeded, chopped into 1/4” pieces – reserve a tablespoon for garnish

2 cloves garlic, diced finely

2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil

1 tablespoon of fresh dill, remove large stems and chopped into small pieces

1 teaspoon crushed red pepper, optional

kosher salt and freshly ground pepper

Instructions

  1. Gather and prepare all of the ingredients
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the yogurt, lemon juice, olive oil, garlic, and spices.
  3. Then gently fold in the cucumber and dill, reserving some of each for garnish.
  4. Transfer to a serving dish and garnish with the remaining dill and cucumber. then serve.
